Great pictures...you are right about the sign, and I like the Free Paletine from Araafat one. I have a feeling there are many Palestinians who would agree, if it wouldn't lead to them being killed.

I love the sign, too, but in reality it works both ways. The Palestinians may be doing it from the ground but Israel is doing it from the air.

first,

Israeli helicopters don't just appear out of nowhere and start bombing civilians. Due to the agreements made in Oslo, Hamas, Islamic Jihad.,etc should've been banned, but Arafat's decision to keep them up and running with public offices, in the middle of civilian population in the West Bank, is ultimately responsible for any unfortunate collateral damage. Arafat & co. has no regard for Palestinian children.

Stan, I see and read the news too and Israel does take their helicopters and indeed bomb cars on the road and homes from the air. When they do this, they are terrorizing these people and the people they kill are not Hamas, Hezbollah or other islamic groups but always, without fail, get civilians. The Palestinian people do not have an army but Israel does and they do everything in their power to make the living conditions of the Palestinian people pure hell. Ariel Sharon is more dangerout than Arafat could ever be. Sorry but I disagree.

Facts say otherwise. Please explain how is it that there were 0 universities in the west bank prior to the occupation, and now there are half a dozen?

How are Sharon's policies different from let's say... Barak's? You gotta face the facts. Arafat is a dictator, Sharon was elected. What's more, a number of Israeli leaders tried to negotiate with Arafat - Rabin, Netanyahu, Barak, and now Sharon..
The common denominator to the failed negotations is Arafat.
Did you know that Arafat still did not remove the clause calling for the destruction of Israel from the PLO Charter? Removal of that clause was one of the terms of the Oslo agreement. Can you justify that? Can you name at least one promise that Arafat has kept?

I am just asking for one...

I'm not going to waste my time finding proof of Ariel Sharon's actions when you see it and hear what he does every day. Now he is going against the entire European Union, the US and World Court and never has had any intention of following the peace road map. He's threatening Iran and yes, his gunships fly around and blast the Palestinian people any time he feels like it. That news is obvious and can be found anywhere. I'm not standing up for Arafat but if you ask me the most dangerous man is, it's Sharon. His own people protested against him the other day.

So I'm not even going to quantify that answer.

What time is there to waste? I thought the news was "obvious" and could be found "anywhere"? Back up your claims with facts. As for the European Union, who cares? EU does a lot of business with Arabs and its Muslim population is quite sizable. I wouldn't call them objective. What has been EU's response to the genocide in Sudan? Any? Thought so.

What's your point? That's healthy and in Israel, it being a democracy, people can do that. Same can not be said for PA.

I fail to see your point here. Iran does not recognize Israel's right to even exist. Why are you surprised by Israel's concerns regarding Iran's nuclear capability?

Given that you couldn't name one promise that Arafat has kept since OSLO (it's been 10 years since), its kind of interesting to see you blame the other party.
