Can it get any more blatant???

Israel on Wednesday dismissed as "cynically motivated" a push by Arab countries to have the United Nations nuclear watchdog's 139 member states condemn the Jewish state for having nuclear weapons.

Israel neither confirms nor denies having a nuclear arsenal but experts estimate it has between 100 and 200 atomic bombs.

In a letter submitted to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on behalf of Arab member states, Oman asked that member states consider a statement strongly criticizing Israel at the agency's General Conference this week.

Riiiiiight. In other news, burglars criticize doors and locks.

Power supply woes

Funny how problems just seem to solve themselves. I've researched the problem I've been having with my PC crapping out when it's being intensively used (ie, 3D games) and was leaning towards replacing my power supply. Well, all doubts were erased this morning when my PC simply refused to boot up. I've tried everything and it seems that my 450W COOLMAX (CX-450B) has died and went to the power supply hell for being bad.

It hasn't even been a year. Good bye, crappy product!

Never mind the NewEgg comment. Few days after I posted the above comment, they went out of their way to rectify an issue I had with my order.

ROME, Sept. 26 -- An Internet video newscast called the Voice of the Caliphate was broadcast for the first time on Monday, purporting to be a production of al Qaeda and featuring an anchorman who wore a black ski mask and an ammunition belt.

Wahahahhaa! Sorry but this made me laugh.

Ghetto cooling

Having some issues with my pc at the moment. For some reason it shuts off completely when I play BattleField 2 demo for 5-10 minutes. That's right, shuts off completely. Won't turn back on unless I unplug the power cable from the back and wait 15-20 seconds before plugging it back in. At first I thought it was overheating. My idle CPU temperature was 45-48 C, and the case temperature was around 40 C. The CPU temp would peak at 65 C right before shutting down. And that's with the case open! Not that hot, but after reinstalling my drivers and testing my RAM I have nothing to go on, so...

Now to the photo. That's my case opened up, and that's a fan clipped on to the leg of my chair. Pretty ghetto, but works! Now my CPU idles at 33 C, and the case is at 29. So, I load BattleField 2 and once again the PC shuts down after just a few minutes, with the CPU temperature at 41 C, and the case at 31 C.

This issue is definately not due to overheating.

Any ideas?

Klitchko wins!

Ok, as far as I am concerned Wladimir Klitchko has redeemed himself last night. Sure, he got knocked down three times (two of which came via punches to the back of the head) and got a little wobbly, but in the end he was the better boxer. He basically schooled Samuel Peters and made him eat a few rights which would've put a lessed boxer down.

Yea, Klitchko was holding, but so what? That's what good boxers do - they hit and they don't get hit. He's back on my list of favorite boxers.
