A number of European states are refusing to allow El Al cargo planes carrying Israel Defense Forces equipment from stopover landings in their airports.
The refusal came from states considered friendly with Israel, including Britain, Germany and Italy, according to Captain Etai Regev, the chairman of El Al's pilots' union.
Well, this will do wonders for the peace in the middle east. You have the state of Israel, which is constantly getting attacked by (muslim state supported) terrorists. Most of the muslims in the area deny its right to exist and call for its destruction, and now Europe is actively working to undermine its defenses. Europeans refuse to talk about sanctions when it comes to Iran, yet they are quick in punishing Israel.
Shouldn't someone out there worry about Israel (which has nukes, by the way) getting radicalized? Something tells me that Israel just might treat Lebanon as Russia did Chechnya in the next conflict. Perhaps they should.
Tip-toeing along the line of the world opinion hasn't done them much good so far...
