So, Michael Jackson died a few days ago and now there's non stop coverage of people crying. At first I thought they were his creditors, but apparently the world is full of people who think that having a music talent somehow negates one's desire for sleeping with children. Sad.
Michael Jackson has reportedly converted to Islam and changed his name to Mikaeel after one of Allah’s angels.
Whoa, really?
The king of pop pledged allegiance to the Koran in a Shahada ceremony
(the Muslim declaration of belief) presided over by an Imam in the Los Angeles home of musician Steve Porcaro, the UK’s The Sun is reporting.
Mob widow Victoria Gotti yesterday used the fifth anniversary of her infamous husband's death to make an impassioned plea for peace - in Iraq.
"It's disgusting that people are still obsessed with Gotti and the mob," she said outside the Queens mausoleum where one-time Gambino crime boss John Gotti is entombed.
"They should be obsessed with that mob in Washington," she continued. "They have 3,000 deaths on their hands. Worry about that mob in Washington."
You gotta love how Victoria Gotti has now turned pacifist. Not only is she the wife of a serial killer, but she's also responsible for the death of John Favara
Then again, at least this wife beating "pacifist" hasn't killed anyone.
Sean Penn, Susan Sarandon and Cindy Sheehan, Danny Glover and other fools have announced a new great way to protest the war - "rolling fast". A "rolling fast" is a relay in which 2,700 activists pledge to refuse food for at least 24 hours, and then hand over to a comrade. Such sacrifice!
Next year they'll be hiring illegal aliens to fast for them.
UPDATE
Cindy Sheehan announced (video here) that she would rather live under Hugo Chavez then George W.Bush.
Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke says he turned down the chance to discuss climate change with Tony Blair because the British prime minister has "no environmental credentials."
The charity Friends of the Earth, for which the singer is an ambassador, asked him to meet Blair.
But Yorke said Blair had no record of championing the environment and added that dealing with the governing Labour Party's "spin doctors" made him feel ill.
And what exactly are Yorke's credentials? This guy played at the Free Tibet concert in 1999, and last time I checked Tibet is still ain't free... Thom Yorke, the pacifist, also talked about punching in the face those with whom he doesn't agree.
Heath Ledger is angry that a Utah cinema refused to show his gay cowboy film:
"I heard a while ago that West Virginia was going to ban it. But that's a state that was lynching people only 25 years ago, so that's to be expected," Ledger said.
Lynchings in West Virginia 25 years ago??? I haven't heard. Meanwhile, there were lynchings in Australia just last month. Very progressive!
"Personally, I don't think the movie is (controversial) but I think maybe the Mormons in Utah do. I think it's hilarious and very immature of a society.
Heath, on the other hand, is very mature. A single cinema bans his movie and he insults a whole religious group. Nice.
What should you expect when Courtney Love moves in for a few days?
She wound up moving in with Strauss and his cohorts and immediately made her mark: swearing at a dog, threatening to punch a male roommate in the face, borrowing Strauss' used toothbrush, and sitting in on pickup seminars topless while offering advice to the students. One night she woke him up at 2:20 a.m. with a Prada shoe in her hand, exclaiming, "Let's redecorate the house. This will be our hammer."
I refrained from commenting on the whole Tom Cruise/Kathy Holmes "relationship" for far too long. I seriously don't care enough to speculate on what he's trying to prove with all this public display of affection with Holmes. Is he trying to dispell the rumors of his alleged homosexuality? Is his career doing so bad that he needs some kind of a gimmick to create a buzz? Who knows, but I ain't speculating ;)
All I gotta say is that this...
...is some bad acting.
Surely I am not the first one to mention these in the same context:
